As a young boy helping his father with carpentry jobs, Johnny Morlan could never guess that one day his gorgeous wood pieces would adorn not only the finest American and European homes, but would even be presented to the President and First Lady of the United States. By the time he was a teen, the artistry that would later make him such a success was already apparent.

The 4 sides are also sculpted on the exterior. The center panel has inlaid into it a 2 inch diameter polished solid brass case clock with ivory colored dial with roman numerals. Has 2 polished solid brass 95 degree stop hinges. The box bottom is lined with Purple crushed velvet. It has a Sankyo 50 note musical movement that plays the Blue Danube Waltz.

The cross is made from Bethlehem Jerusalem Olivewood and is 7 3/4" long x 5 1/8" wide. The two pieces are 11/16" wide and 1/2" thick.

From the tips the plaque is 60" long x 16" tall.

With this particular one, the figured Cherry wood was stained a dark reddish brown color, as the client wanted the color to match the furniture in the room it was going to be prominently displayed in. Mom & Dad are displayed in the 2 - 2 3/4" in diameter 24 karat gold plated photo inserts at the top and 62 of their descendants in the smaller 2" in diameter 24 karat gold plated photo inserts. Has a 3" in diameter 24 karat gold plated barometer and temperature gauge insert on each side of the Mother and Father photo inserts. The 24 karat gold plated clock insert is 4" in diameter and has a old world dial with arabic numerals. The heart is made from Ruby Red Cathedral stained glass. All the edges are coated with 24-karat gold leaf paint. All 67 holes were drilled one at a time to a depth of 5/16" using a carbide tipped forstner bit.

All table parts are made from solid 25/32" thick Red Oak, except for the legs which are made from 2" thick solid Red Oak. The 3 Coffee Tables are 22" high and the 6 End Tables are 24" high. They are stained a light Chestnut color.
